When loss takes the map away, you learn the territory.

52 cards for women who are getting to know themselves again — after grief, after change, after the version of life that no longer fits.

How it began

Hi! I’m Deidre. Thanks for being here. This deck was born from a season when the questions I’d always relied on stopped working. Loss does that. It removes the scaffolding you didn’t know was there — the routines, the roles, the way you understood yourself in relation to someone else. What I found, once the immediate grief softened a little, was that I didn’t know who I was anymore. Not in a dramatic way. In a quiet, disorienting one.

I started asking myself gentler questions. Not “how do I move on?” but “what do I notice right now?” Not “who am I supposed to be?” but “who have I always been, underneath all of it?” I wrote them down. I sat with them. The deck grew from that practice.

It isn’t meant to heal you or guide you somewhere. It’s meant to keep you company while you figure out where you already are.

The Cards

This deck was made for you if:

  • You’ve lost someone, and the grief has shifted into something quieter and harder to name
  • You’re wondering who you are now that a major chapter has closed
  • You’re tired of being told to heal faster, move on sooner, or come back stronger
  • You miss yourself — or never quite knew her — and want to start there
  • You want to slow down without having to explain why

“The questions were really thoughtful. I appreciated the opportunity to check in with myself. Even going back to look at them felt like a guide for my current season. Rereading my responses felt like I was adding portions of hope to my own cup”.

How to Use the Deck

This deck is a companion for moments when you want to pause and return to yourself. Pull a card and read it slowly. Notice what happens in your body before reaching for meaning. You might journal, sit in silence, carry the question with you, or return to the same card over time.

There is no correct pace, sequence, or outcome. You don’t need to feel calm, clear, or ready. Use this deck alone, or with someone you trust. Let it meet you where you are.
